I got a message from Ms Akemi Nakamura on March 15th on
Twitter.
She wrote;
Hello. I'm Akemi Nakamura, a writer working in New York.
I had a chance to interview Jon Bon Jovi on the set in New
York on March 14th.
He asked me if I was a Japanese. When I answered yes, he
asked me to convey his message to Japanese fans somehow.
He really concerned about Japanese fans and talked from
his heart. I send his message to you.
I'll be happy if you manage to post it on your website.
As she translated Jon's message into Japanese and sent it

I'm really concerned about the things happening in Japan.
So please convey my message to Japanese people.
I have many friends in Japan, so I even contacted some of
them to make sure they were all right. They were safe
'cause they were fortunately in Tokyo.
As our band has visited Japan 30 times or more, we have a
very long relationship with Japan. In Japan we have many
wonderful friends and a lot of fans who have supported us
for a long time. So I'm really worried about them.
MY HEART GOES TO THEM!
And I'm planning to do something special for Japanese fans
as soon as possible.
